HOW DO VOLCANOES FORM LAND?
Firstly in the earth, what happens? Under all the crust, and all that stuff there are many big pieces of the earth’s crust.
They are called tectonic plates they float on the magma. When the tectonic plates rub together it can form a volcano, to erupt or even an earthquake.
If a volcano erupts it would have pressure on it and all the steam, ash and gases. All the things come out of a vent and if
the tectonic plates rub together it forms pressure on it.
When a volcano erupts it has ashes steam, lava and all sorts of things come bursting out of the big vent. Some volcanoes
can even blow there tops off. It contains pyroclastic flows and ash clouds, which cover the sky. After a volcano has burst it makes such a big mess.
When volcanoes burst all the lava and stuff sets and in time it forms land. This is the bad part, animals and people get
killed.

HOW DO VOLCANOES FORM LAND?
Volcanoes.
Have you ever wondered how the land forms and why we have these
vicious and violent volcanoes? Volcanoes come in three shapes cone, dome and
shield. In Taranaki we have a cone volcano but there is more then one in New
Zealand there is a lot.
Firstly the teatonic plats rub together it will make an
volcanoes erupt it can be violent or gentle. Over a hundred years ago MT
Taranaki erupted it was violent spiting out ash, hot rock, lava, gas and
pumice.
Imagine a peace of core flute as your land and plaster of Paris
as lava and a hole in the middle as your vent. When you push the core flute into
the lava the vent will turn into a volcano. It’s because you are putting
pressure on it
When the volcanoes erupts there is a gig ash cloud called the
pyroclastic flow. The pyroclastic flow is made out of ash, hot rocks, gas
pumice, steam, solids and noxious gas.
When a volcano erupts it can be deadly. It can kill people
animals, burn a house down, cove things in ash and melt a car. It would have to
be really hot to melt a car.
So that means volcanoes give birth to the land because the lava
spreads all over the place. Over the years it will grow fresh green grass so
that is how the land is forms.
I never knew volcanoes are that interesting! And I want to study
them again
