Consumer or Conserver
Are you a consumer or a conserver? I know Eltham Primary School is a fat
gluttonous consumer.
Muhahahaha!
Over the past 2 weeks my buddies and I (Room 7) have been reducing
the paper waste in Room 7 and 6. But now we are hoping to move
to the senior block and then the whole school. Then the whole world, are we
crazy? The amount of paper waste in the school is ridiculous!
Once Mrs Malone (my Principal) had to call the rubbish truck twice in one
month to pick up the big lingering bin!
Insane!! Most of that was
paper waste! So Room 7 have made briquettes (which are bricks made from paper,
cardboard and wood shavings) to reduce the paper going in the bin.
Our Moto is ‘Save the planet, save our lives’.

Paper tearing,
Kids hearing,
Rubbish flying,
Food lying,
Children staring,
Room 7 fearing,
Rubbish bins landing,
Briquettes standing,
We prove to you what we can do

Rubbish disaster
Buckets filling and rubbish flying. Who started all this disastrous
behaviour? Luckily, I
wasn’t the one who started all this.
“Paper waste is awfully not okay” I shout.
We should all be conserving without a doubt.
Luckily the spectacular class Room 7 with the most awesome teacher
Miss Le Bas are the only ones who are trying really hard to put a stop to
this. One day you might see that the world will be cleaner than ever because of Room 7 and
me!

waste around the world
Food falling, Paper crunching, rubbish hanging.
Oh Man, the world is filled with rubbish!
Empty rubbish bins standing, kids gorking, briquettes balancing,
buckets filling. Electricity going up, waste going down.
Please rubbish, Stop! Rubbish is not good. Let me think, instead of putting rubbish in front of the bin,
PUT IT IN IT!
La Toya
dear management
Our rubbish bins are filling. The big skip bin swallowing rubbish. You never know, the Head Master could be throwing paper planes. Room 7 are going on strike and are making paper briquettes. So now we are recycling green heroes. We have made four bricks already. That was all out of Room 7 and 6’s rubbish and also the office. So be a conserver and don’t waste paper.
Meet the green fingers in Room 7. There’s still lots more bricks to make, with our buckets swelling. So please donate scrap paper to Room 7. Thank you for your time.
Yours sincerely

People are littering.
Food Smelling,
Rubbish rolling.
To help, you can reuse the paper like Room 7.
Room 7 used their brains. They worked out what they could do to help keep the world looking
green. People litter.Why do they?
There’s no point to litter if there’s a bin around.
People seem to not care about keeping our world fresh anymore.
Briquettes looking amazing,
Rubbish bags oozing.Room 7 made briquettes by reusing paper that could have gone into
the dump. We just kept the school
fresh, now we are trying to keep the community and the world
clean.Can YOU help??

paper waste
We have been learning how to save paper for the universe.
Food lying as universe wasting, paper drowning as the children
learning. Bins starring as rubbish bags spew. Miss Le Bas is talking while the briquettes are sitting.
Children interrupting while Miss Le bas shouting.
Empty bins crying, Miss Le Bas describing.
People annoying as I’m laughing.
Children screaming as Miss Le Bas yawning. Why can’t people learn to save paper.
Buckets floating as rubbish bag oozing.
Food lounging as bins refilling. Why can’t people just be conservers.

How to make a paper brick my name is Matua and I am going to teach you how to make a paper brick.
You will need:
A bucket Shredded Paper
Woodchips Water
And a briquette maker...Muscles First you put in you're paper and wood chips into a bucket add some water so its level. Then
mix mixture for two minutes. Next you pull out the squeezer and pop the mixture into the brick maker, and squeeze with
you're muscles if you have any no offence Korea. If you have more pull out the squeezer and pop in the rest of the mixture and squeeze again. Then get an helper and pull out the brick. And there you have the lovely briquette. By Matua
